Hallo, ich habe Knoppix von CD auf die Festplatte kopieren lassen, um in den Genuß eines (fertigen) Debiansystems zu kommen. Mit Hilfe einer Bootdisk kann ich von Festplatte aus starten. Wenn ich über LILO booten will kommt nur ein L und dann wars das. die /etc/lilo.conf sieht folgendermaßen aus: boot=/dev/hda2 compact vga=791 prompt timeout=5 image=/boot/vmlinuz-2.4.19-xfs label=knoppix root=/dev/hda2 read-only folgende Meldung erhalte ich bei: lilo -v LILO version 22.3.3, ... Warning: LBA32 addressing assumed Warning: COMPACT may conflict with LBA32 on some systems Reading boot sector from /dev/hda2 Using MENU secondary loader Calling map_insert_data Boot image:/boot/vmlinuz-2.4.19-xfs Added knoppix * /boot/boot.0302 exists - no backup copy made. Writing boot sector. Auch ohne den compact Eintrag erscheint nur ein L beim Booten. Was kann ich tun, woran liegt das? Danke im Voraus Gruss Ron
