The source of... what? libmpfr (as well as libgmp) are required for
GCC these days, at least gcc trunk.
What's in there in this package is trunk's gcc+binutils, plus a small
number of patches
(http://linux-vax.cvs.sourceforge.net/linux-vax/toolchain/patches/).
The uClibc patches in that directory weren't used since the build
process broke before they were of any use...
The over-all build process is done by build_toolchain.sh from
http://linux-vax.cvs.sourceforge.net/linux-vax/toolchain/scripts/ . If
you want to run that, please read the README first and then modify
vax_toolchain_config to fit your directory layout.
