[LV] [PATCH] Wire modern socket calls

 	Hello All ,
 	Well other than the last messages from Maciej & Jan-Benedict we 
look like everyone's back in silent mode & probably way busy with Work & Home 
pressures to have time to pop message(s) here to keep the rest of us not very 
good coders(ie: users) informed .
 	Would either of or both you Please pipe up with a short status of things ?
 	Some of us (ok, at least me) are chomping at the bit to use the 
compiler both of you have worked on so diligently .
