You're completely right with that: Up to now, it wasn't restored after
the kernel.org security fluctuation.

As stated before, the kernel is in big trouble. There isn't, right
now, a single, authoritative, cared-for source tree. I just digged out
two trees from my two development machines of that time, which I'll
soon link at http://vax-linux.org/ .  But keep in mind that these are
old trees with severe bit-rot potential.  And as I gain access to
Maciej's tree, I'll put a link to that on vax-linux.org, too.
