Well, no progress has been made in a long time now, so pretty much I
think so.

Most importantly the VAX GCC port has been saved from being axed however:
<https://gcc.gnu.org/pipermail/gcc-patches/2020-November/559698.html>, so
work can resume at any time should there be volunteers. I mean to look
after GCC, including in particular the much required LRA transition:
<https://gcc.gnu.org/wiki/LRAIsDefault>, but otherwise I can't promise any
further commitment.

I have a copy of the kernel repo somewhere and patches I have been
working on. This is all 2.6.x, so ~20 years old stuff. There's some
userland stuff too, most notably a GNU C library port, and that's still
there at: <ftp://ftp.linux-mips.org/pub/linux/mips/people/macro/SRPMS/>
(you need to filter the relevant pieces), which I don't know how long is
going to be up.

 Sorry to (perhaps) disappoint you.

  Maciej
