 You are welcome.  Bugs in the compiler hindered progress with the 
userland.  Chances are this updated GCC would work better.

 I have multiple copies across different physical media so hopefully at 
least one will survive.  It'll take time to get that retrieved though, so 
don't expect me to publish it soon.

 [Etc.; not sure why your names have a .txz suffix rather than .rpm.] 
These are cross-compilation tools/libraries.  You may want the native 
packages too, by matching binaries under .../macro/RPMS/vax/ against 
sources in the location quoted above.  Watch out for base names, which may 
be different!
