Dieses ist die Mailing-Liste der Linux User Group OstWestfalen Lippe Wir treffen uns derzeit jeden Montag in der Region (Gütersloh, Paderborn, Bielefeld, Detmold, ...) Die genauen Termine und Örtlichkeiten (inkl. Anfahrtsbeschreibungen) kannst Du auf http://lug-owl.de finden.) Ausserdem werden alle Termine auf der Mailingliste lug-announce angekündigt. Hoffentlich können wir Dich auch einmal bein einer unserer Veranstaltungen begrüßen! Wir bitten Dich, einige Regeln einzuhalten, die die Diskussionen und Antworten auf Fragen deutlich vereinfachen: * Nur einfachen Text schicken. Kein HTML, keine Word-Dokumente. * Den Text spätestens in Spalte 78 umbrechen. * Bei Fragen bitte immer mit angeben: * Welche Linux-Distribution, welche Version * Welche Kernel-Version (kann man mit "uname -r" herausfinden) * Wie lautet die genaue Fehlermeldung (wenn es denn eine gibt...) * Wenn es sich um Probleme mit einem einfachen Programm handelt: Gibt die man-Seite Hinweise ("man PROGRAMMNAME")? * Ist der Dokumentation des Programmes ein Hinweis zu entlocken (README, Dateien unter /usr/doc/ der unter /usr/doc/packages/)? Using Linux
To post a message to all the list members, send email to linux@lug-owl.de. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Linux
Subscribe to Linux by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
