Hallo, I apologise for writing in English. I am moving to Bielefeld in October and am a Linux user so I wanted to introduce myself to the Linux community. I am learning German but as I am currently in France it is difficult to learn. I use Ubuntu 6.06 on my standard laptop and Xubuntu 7.04 on an old machine I use for experimenting with - it also has plan9 on it. I have a question which hopefully has a simple answer: I set up a gmx.de e-mail account and was trying to use the pop3 facility to download the e-mails to my evolution e-mail programme. I get error messages when try to connect to the pop3 account. Do I have to enable something on gmx.net? In friendship, John Warner
