Fangen wir doch mal von vorne an - Was funktioniert nicht ? Laesst
sich das modul nicht laden ? Findet das Modul die Karte ? D.h. hast
du ein "eth0" das du mit "ifconfig" configurieren kannst ? 

Wenn im selben segment eine Windows kiste mit z.b. dem Windows Netzwerk
Client steht dann sollte auf der Linux kiste nachdem das Interface configuriert
ist der Interrupt count /etc/interrupts fuer die Karte hochzaehlen
(SMB Broadcast).

Nachdem du das modul geladen hast schick doch mal deine

/proc/interrupts
/proc/ioports
/proc/modules (-> lsmod)
/proc/net/dev

Und output von "ifconfig" und "route -n"
