kernel kompilieren /xdcroast

Eventuell solltest Du aber vorher noch ein cd /usr/src/linux machen
(sofern da Deine kernel-sourcen rumliegen.)

wenn Du da bereits warst kann es natuerlich sein das da ein root alles konnte
und mal eben 'Makefile? brauch ich nich.' gesagt hat.
