root filesystem auf raid0

Moin,

ich habe ein raid0 array aus 2 platten zusammengebastelt, was soweit ganz gut 
funktioniert.

Nun möchte ich darauf das root filesystem auf diesem platten haben.
Bis jetzt habe ich das alles von der aktuellen Rootpartition auf die 
gemountete Raidpartiotion gespielt - so wie das im Software-RAID-HOWTO
beschrieben ist.

Laut dem Howto soll man das als nächstes machen:

"Now, unmount the current /boot filesystem, and mount the boot device on 
/mnt/newroot/boot instead. This is required for LILO to run successfully in 
the next step.Update /mnt/newroot/etc/lilo.conf to point to the right 
devices. The boot device must still be a regular disk (non-RAID device), but 
the root device should point to your new RAID. When done, run 
 lilo -r /mnt/newroot
 This LILO run should complete with no errors.Reboot the system, and watch 
everything come up as expected :)"

Allerdings kann ich mein /boot nicht unmounten, da es immer busy ist.

Kann ich diesen Schritt überspringen bzw gibt es da noch eine andere Lösung.

btw ich habe gerade auf den 2.4er Kernel upgedatet und mir ist es bis jetzt 
noch nicht gelungen eine Bootdiskette zu erstellen.
Ich habe es mit make bzdisk und dd if=/boot/vmlinuz of=/dev/fd0 probiert.

Beim Booten sieht das dann ungefähr so aus:
Uncompressing Linux ...
ran out ouf input data 
System halted.

Die Diskette sollte eigentlich heil sein.

Das einzige was mit aufgefallen ist, dass der Kernel mit 1,1 mb im vergleich 
zu den alten kernel recht gross ist.

Ich würde das ganze naemlich gern vorher mit bootdiskette testen.
