Wofuer genau die abkuerzung steht weiss ich nicht - Allerdigns dient 
das ganze dazu auf Intel 32Bit arcitectures bis zu 2^36 bytes speicher
zu addressieren. Das ganze funktioniert in dem man in den Physikalischen
Speicher fenster des hoeheren einblendet.

Afaik supported in allem >PIII - Im Linux kernel ist dafuer der ganze
HIGHMEM kram zustaendig.
