apt Default-Release // debian-newby

Hallo,

da SuSE sich in neuen Versionen von yast 1 verabschiedet hat, bin
ich jetzt dabei (zunächst) meinen Client auf debian umzustellen.

Ich habe zunächst eine potato r4 als Basis installiert. Da meine
Platten an einem onboard Promise hängen (A7V133) und ich
Unterstützung für ieee1394 brauche habe ich zunächst auf kernel
2.4.18 geupdatet.

Dann ein Update auf woody. Die bisherige Basis für meinen Umgang mit
apt bildet der Artikel aus dem LM 07/02. Mein Lieblingswerkzeug ist
aptitude. Soviel vorab ;).

Jetzt habe ich ein Problem mit dem Paket freetype2-dev:

freetype2 ist in der obigen Version installiert. Warum sich
freetype2-dev nicht installieren lässt ist mir ein Rätzel :(?

In der Paket Beschreibung von freetype2-1.3.1-1 heisst es:

Description: Dummy package for transition to libttf2.
This dummy package provides a transition from the previous FreeType1
package (freetype2 [sic]) to libttf2.  It may be safely removed
once all the packages are re-built with correct dependency to libttf2.

Also dachte ich warum nicht gleich ein richtiges Update auf
freetype2 aus sid. Ich will also auf woody bleiben und nur in
einzelen Fällen Pakete auf sid. Nach der Beschreibung im LM bin ich
hierzu so vorgegangen:

Dann ein apt-get update. Das Problem was ich jetzt habe ist, dass
ein apt-get upgrade IMHO versucht mein ganzes System nach sid zu
bringen. Es soll ein Download von 192 MB stattfinden :(.

Wie mache ich es richtig, damit ein apt-get upgrade weiterhin nur
woody updates durchfürt ich aber trotzdem die Möglichkeit habe mit
apt-get -t unstable install ... auf einzelne sid Pakete zuzugreifen?
