profiling

Hi,
ich habe hier ein kleineres problem mit profiling eines asynchronen snmp 
pollers. Das dingen kann ich zwar profilen fuer kleine mengen an hosts
und snmp oid - Allerdings wenn ich die menge steigere (Was die
aussagekraft des profilings deutlich verbessert) haengt sich das
programm auf bzw bleibt stehen. Im strace ist der letzte eintrag ein
"recv_from" der mit -ERESTARTSYS zurueckkehrt - Ist jemand vielleicht
ueber derartiges schon einmal gestolpert ? Ich vermute die snmp lib
hat nen schuss und kann mit dem return code nichts anfangen.
