Font Problem in Galeon

Moin,
seit ein paar Tage spinnt mein Galeon, er benutzt einen wirklich
häßlichen Font als default Serif Font. Ich kann das zwar im
Konfigurationsdialog ändern, aber die Änderungen werden nicht
dauerhaft gespeichert, sprich: beim nächsten Aufruf steh ich
wieder vor dem gleichen Problem. 
Hab auch schon probiert in ~/.galeon/mozilla/galeon/prefs.js
die Pfade händisch zu ändern, hat keinerlei Auswirkungen. Weiß
jemand, welche Datei da wirklich verantwortlich ist?
