Das ist natuerlich wahr - Hmmm - alles doof - rsync ist nicht wirklich
das ideale mittel um so etwas zu bewerktstellingen. wget aka http
ist mir deutlich lieber - weniger resourcen und einfach via sendfile
raus.

Ist simpel:

rsync -avrl --include "**/" --exclude "/**" source.rfc822.org::debian-non-US/ /tmp/debian-non-US/

Damit included er alle directorys und excluded alle files ;) Leider
nimmt er dann auch die symlinks nicht mit ;(

Argumentativ ist alles was nicht existiert ein symlink ;)
