Suchen in Mails (Re: wanted)

Vielleicht hilft Dir dabei grepmail[1]. Damit kann man in mehreren
Dateien suchen. Ich zitiere einfach mal die Manpage davon:

         grepmail looks for mail messages containing a pattern,
         and prints the resulting messages on standard out.

         [...]            
         
         When redirected to a file, the result is another mail­
         box, which can, in turn, be handled by standard User
         Agents, such as elm [...]


grepmail kommt wohl auch mit komprimierten Mailboxen (mbox?) zurecht.
Auf der Webseite zu [1] gibt es sogar einen Link zu grepm[2].

(Hoert sich interessant an, muss ich mir auch mal anschauen...)
