debian upgrade, rueckfrage

hallo liebe Lug'ler,

mit Debian bin ich ein wenig unerfahren, möchte nun aber ein laufendes
system upgrade.

dazu muesste ich, wenn ich es recht sehe folgendes machen:

apt-get dist-upgrade
oder
apt-get upgrade

bei dist-upgrade moechte er ein ein neues paket instalieren um die
abhaeniggkeiten
eines anderen pakettes zu gewaehren.
"

..
Inst gnupg (1.2.4-1.bunk woody-bunk-1:stable)
"

bei apt-get upgrade haelt er ein paket zurueck:
"
The following packages have been kept back
  gnupg
"

tja, jetzt brauch ich einfach mal eine tipp welchen befehl ich denn un
nehmen
sollte.

un vor allem:
weil es ein entferntes system ist, ist das voellig problemlos?
den zugang zum system habe ich momentan nur ueber ssh.

kann ich einfach das
apt-get dist-upgrade
fahren, ohne mir sorgen zu machen, dass das system anschliessend nicht
mehr will?


das ist der punkt der mir daran siregn bereitet.
wahrscheinlich ist auch ein neustart erforderlich, vermute ich mal.

was mich noch irritiert:

apt-get -s dist-upgrade zeigt fuer jedes paket ein
"Inst ..."
aber auch ein
"Conf .."

ich dachte, das apt-get braucht nichts zu konfigurieren?
