Script läuft via cron nicht

Ich glaube es geht um Systemcrontab (/etc/crontab) oder Usercrontab
(crontab -e). Dabei spielt es keine Rolle, ob du das (crontab -e) jetzt als root oder als unprivilegierter User ausführst, beides sind die userbezogenen Crontabs. Vor daher probier mal den Eintrag "root" in der Crontab-Zeile weg zu lassen.
