Probleme mit dpkg-buildpackage bei Woody

Hi :)

Seit 2 Stunden versuche ich erfolglos - und das trotz Googelei - auf
einem Woody-System ein Debian-Paket aus Sourcen zu erzeugen.

Es geht um libxml2, die ich in einer aktuelleren Version benoetige, um
PHP5 zu compilieren.

Fehlermeldung ist:
mkdir -p -- /tmp/libxml2-2.6.8/debian/tmp/share/doc/libxml2-python-2.6.8
mkdir -p -- . /tmp/libxml2-2.6.8/debian/tmp/lib/python2.1/site-packages
 /bin/sh ../libtool --mode=install /usr/bin/install -c  libxml2mod.la
/tmp/libxml2-2.6.8/debian/tmp/lib/python2.1/site-packages/libxml2mod.la
libtool: install: error: cannot install `libxml2mod.la' to a directory
not ending in /usr/lib/python2.1/site-packages

Google wirft zwar etwas aus, das sind aber - so, wie ich das verstanden
habe - Patches fuer einzelne Projekte.

Ich koennte ja libtool updaten, aber dann habe ich ja zunaechst das
selbe Problem :(

Ach ja:
Ich habe dpkg-buildpackage mit und ohne -rfakeroot ausprobiert...

Any ideas?
