Frage zu courier-imap

Hallo Leute

kann man eigentlich courier-imap beibringen nicht die syslog mit solchen 
Einträgen voll zu schreiben?

Oct 26 17:20:04 hugo imaplogin: Connection, ip=[::ffff:192.168.0.77]
Oct 26 17:20:04 hugo imaplogin: LOGIN, user=richertv, 
ip=[::ffff:192.168.0.77], protocol=IMAP

Ich weiß zwar, dass ich das in der syslog.conf einstellen kann aber wie 
ich das hin bekomme soll weiß ich nicht.
Mein System ist Debian Sarge.
