amd64 & powernow auf msi kt8 neo2 (Gentoo)

Hallo Liste, 

ich habe ein Problem mit einem AMD64 3000+ (Venice core) auf einem MSI K8T
Neo2-Mainboard. Lt. /proc/cpuinfo sehe ich keine Power-Optionen:

Ein modprobe (hab das Modul  auch in den Kernel eingebaut probiert) sagt mir: 

powernow-k8: BIOS error - no PSB or ACPI _PSS objects

obwohl im BIOS Cool & Quiet sowie APCI eingeschaltet sind. 

Ich hab's sowohl mit vanilla-sources 2.6.12 wie auch den gentoo-Sources
probiert, hat aber beides leider nichts geholfen. Hat jemand eine Idee
woran das liegen könnte?
