Sound: kein Duplex mit ESS 18xx AudioDrive (ISA!) (alsa/artsd/kde)

Hab' grad mal ein Knoppix (3.7) gebootet und die alsa-Einträge aus
der /etc/modules.conf unter Knoppix eingepflegt und ein 

	# modprobe snd-ex18xx

abgesetzt.

Dann habe ich unter KDE die Soundunterstützung angeknipst und dort
Vollduplex angeknipst ... und das mochte er. - Allerdings sagt mir das
noch nicht, ob Vollduplex-Sound geht ... sondern nur dass er die Option
gefressen hat.

Irgenwie stehe ich hier immer noch auf dem Schlauch.

Any hints?
