I use a GMX E-Mail address with TLD li and this server is correct for
me.

Maybe you need to use the customer number instead of E-Mails address als
username. I checked my fetchmail configuration and this works. Using the
web interface both methods should work. You should be able to look up
yout customer number after web login.

Did you check another client? Is the problem specific to evolution?

I use another GMX address with username equals E-Mail address, but Port
is 995 and protocol is ssl (same as fetchmail) but not tls.

Maybe a wrong password is saved inside of evolution? Can you force to be
asked for the password?
