pacat geht in beide Richtungen, paplay nutzt libs im Hintergrund und
kann fast alles[tm]. Persönlich find ichs allerdings sehr angenehm,
daß pacat PCM verarbeitet und eben kein headerbehaftetes Format. Dafür
hat man dann doch die Möglichkeiten, das Zeug zu pipen :)
