UTF-8 & Locales

Also auf der standard text console habe ICH nie utf-8 ans laufen
gebracht. Probem ist ja das bei der text console die zeichen direkt in
die grafikkarte geschrieben werden und die grafikkarten aber kein
utf-8 koennen d.h. keine multibyte character. Wenn man utf-8 auf der
console machen will muss meines wissens nach eine framebuffer her und
ein entsprechender font.

Bei mir gehts nur im xterm und co - wobei ich selber immer gnome-terminal
nehme ...
