Da faellt mir ein Artikel aus der aktuellen iX ein. Bei der Vorstellung 
der neuen POWER7 CPUs hat IBM einen "neuen" Trick zur 
Hauptspeichervergroesserung auf Lager: Die Daten werden in komprimiert!
"In Tests mit SAP ERP-Systemen hat IBM Kompressionen um 50% ohne grosse 
CPU-Last erreicht."
2 Saetze weiter dann der geile Spruch:
"Die Zahlen sprechen nicht fuer eine optimale Speichernutzung bei der 
Walldorfer Software."
