RAID/HDDs prüfen am aic79xx

Hallo zusammen,

ich habe hier eine alte Fusi RX300 (Rev. 1) mit 4 SCA-Platten, die im
Adaptec-BIOS zum RAID-5 zusammensetzt habe.
Installiert ist Debian Squeeze und es booten auch problemlos und es
werden auch Module geladen:

# lsmod | grep raid
aacraid                51241  2
scsi_mod              101429  7
sr_mod,sg,sd_mod,aic79xx,libata,scsi_transport_spi,aacraid


Nun moechte ich im Betrieb mal den Status der Platte und des RAIDs
pruefen koennen. Ich habe es jetzt mit raidutils und afaapps (afacli)
versucht, aber komme damit nicht an die Platten ran:

# raidutil -L all
osdOpenEngine  : 05/09/111-18:27:30  Fatal error, no active controller
device files found.


CLI > open afa0
Executing: open "afa0"
Command Error: <The requested controller does not exist.>

Und wenn ich Betrieb eine Platte rausziehe, ist im syslog nichts zu sehen

Anbei mal ein lspci und dmesg output, installiert ist Debian Squeeze mit
default kernel (2.6.32-5-686)

Hat jemand einen Tip?
