Hello All , My Micro Vax 4000 (QBUS) just arrived in town . So hopefully at least someone (me) will be putting a biot more noise onto the list over the next few months . [LV] [PATCH] Wire modern socket calls

Socket calls are available directly these days and the user- and kernel-side overhead of using the arcane interface of socketcall(2) can be avoided. Hi! ...no, I don't have a happily booting VAX yet, let alone userland. It contains docs, generic VAX support, all the header files, support for the single CPUs. I'm not sure when I'll continue to cut it down, but probably in two night's time. (I'm on the FOSSGIS (http://www.fossgis.de/konferenz/wiki/Main_Page) conference for the next days, but hopefully I'll be able to do some hacking at my hotel.) But all in all, I'm keen to see a booting VAX soon. (Maybe without SCSI and network for the first days, but that'll all show up.) At least there's a compiler that seems well-working, thanks to Matt and Maciej.
