Hello Maciej & Jan & ALL , THe short story is VMS licenses Vax hardware
will nolonger be issued . By Either of vms software , inc. Or HP . It's gone .

I have a few QBus Vax based systems (and maybe another not qbus) which
I'd really like to have be useful to me for a FEW more years . Like hopefully
10-20 years more or until the hardware itself is failing . I also have a SIMH
instance functioning for OS testing as the VMS I had running on it worked
flawlessly .

I am willing and interested , Also if you search the archives , Had
been interested before all the wind flew out of the sails of this (IMO)
Wonderful project .

My one difficulty at present is a ceiling on how much data I can
transfer in or out of my data link . With that I can and will do my best to
test & report back my findings .

And would my efforts be of assistance given the affore mentioned items ?

 	To: Maciej ,

I have (as far as I am aware) all instances of linux-vax-*.rpm's .
my one concern is that there are MANY of simular name but lesser or
different marked versioning . Would you please either post a definitive list of
the rpm's that are necessary for a running system ?
